Founder and Principal Architect at A&A Arraiolos e Associados Arquitectos, Lda., Marco Arraiolos brings over 25 years of experience in architecture and consultancy.

Graduated in Architecture from Technical University of Lisbon in 1999, he honed his craft alongside renowned architects such as Vítor Figueiredo (1999-2007) and Aires Mateus (2007-2018), leading major projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

In parallel with his collaborations, Marco also cultivated his independent practice, combining architectural design with consultancy services.

Between 2008 and 2018 he also served as an invited assistant professor at Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa.

In 2018, he founded his own architecture office in Lisbon, further expanding his vision, his work in consultancy and independent practice.

As part of this vision, and built on a longstanding collaboration with Elena Dalbon, IPA Independent Property Advisers was created.

Born in Milan in 1991, Elena Dalbon studied Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano, graduating in 2015. She began her professional career as an architect in the technical department of the Accor Hotels group.

After two years of professional experience in London and various trips to Portugal, she decided to move to Lisbon in 2017, where she completed a master’s degree at Universidade Autónoma.

Her move to Portugal was driven by a strong desire to explore, learn, and study Portuguese architecture, establishing it as a central focus of her professional career.

In 2018, she collaborated with ARX Arquitectos, and the following year, she began working with Marco Arraiolos.

Alongside her professional work, she continues to cultivate her independent vision of architecture and beauty, participating in public and private competitions and researching the Portuguese housing market and its potential for transformation.

Since 2022, she has been Project Coordinator at A&A Arraiolos e Associados Arquitectos, Lda., and co-founded IPA Independent Property Advisers, together with Marco Arraiolos.
